Red Bull Rivals is a one day skateboarding event pitting teams of up to three skaters broken out by Washington area codes (206, 425, 253, 360, and 509) against each other.
The competition will be held at Seattle’s infamous Marginal Way Skatepark. The winning team will have a donation to the park made in their name and each individual winning skater’s name will be immortalized in the concrete at Marginal Way.
Registration is free and open from 11am-noon on event day.

"I am proud to announce that Red Bull Rivals is back this year and is being held at Marginal Way Skatepark which is Seattle's notorious DIY on Saturday, August 13th. Last year was the first of the rival series at Battleground Skatepark in which teams representing Oregon and Washington battled it out for bragging rights and most importantly money from Redbull to go towards the respective winning teams DIY park Burnside and Marginal Way). Seattle walked away with a victory and $1500 towards Marginal Way. This year the format has changed a little. There will be teams of 2-3 skaters representing their Northwest area codes and they will be battling for pride and a cash prize. Marginal Way will be hosting the event and will have food and music on site. Come out and support one of Seattle's best contribution to skateboarding." -Steve Gonzales
